We have VCM and vCOPS in our environment. The adapter for VCM is functioning fine as far as I can tell. The VMware documentation indicates that you can correlate performance issues identified in vCOPS with configuration changes in VCM. How do you get that information from VCM into vCOPS. Maybe it's there and I just don't know as I'm still new to both products. I'm not seeing where I can add some dashboard object in vCOPS that shows configuration changes for an object? I presume that if you run a regular collection against machines in VCM it would collect configuration changes. I have a collection, that uses the default filter set, run against all of our machines on a regular basis so I would presume that is collecting the appropriate information. When I look in VCM under Console > Change Management > Non VCM Initiated I can see it's logging changes to machines. How does that or does this end up in vCOPS where I can do some type of correlation from performance to change?
Thanks.
