Urgent: I am trying to hook APIs called by VMWare to communicate with Host Machine (Windows 7). I have used API Monitor tool but could not hook relevant APIs.

I need to hook specific APIs which are used in sending and receiving WiFi packets to and from Host machine. Are these packets (control and data packets) sent and received using wired NIC, if yes then which APIs are used.
