Since doing a fresh installing of ESXI 6.5 i am unable to add an NFS storage type. See screenshot below.
As you can see there is only an option for Disk/Lun, but no NFS.
Before i was using ESXi 6.0 and was able to see an additional option to add NFS storage.

kindly need your support as the i face a prob. that my cluster has below status
so i tried to remove nsx and install again and when i did it , the uninstalling takes too long time about 6 hours
i removed nsx by following these steps :
Remove the cluster from its transport zone. Go to Logical Network Preparation > Transport Zones and disconnect the cluster from the transport zone. Unconfigure VXLAN on the cluster In the vCenter Web Client, go to Networking & Security > Installation > Host Preparation, and click Uninstall |
so how to fix it?

We are having issue where our vCenter SSO - Orchestrator Account Keeps getting locked out. All VRA-VRO endpoints have been verified that the username and password is correct.
The below event is listed everywhere in our local tenant logs. I've even changed the entire Orchestrator Account/Password and updated the endpoints and even with this new user the below
events still follow and the new account eventually gets locked out. This is causing VRA submission to fail, VRO workflows to bomb etc until the account is unlocked.
Any Ideas?
I had a perfectly working lab setup as of a few days ago where my Win7 (32b) VM was loaded with the Horizon View 6 agent and the direct connect agent. My Terra2 PCoIP client would automatically connect on power-up and life was good.
Yesterday I upgraded my ESXi hosts to 6.5 and my VCSA to 6.5. Now when my PCoIP clients connect (Terra2 or software) I get a black screen and a mouse pointer. I can tell that the system is logging in because I still get sound, and occasionally I see a busy pointer as things load in the background. If I am watching on the VM console, as soon as the connection is made it also goes black. When I disconnect I see the screen come back to life on the console and briefly see the log off message before it goes back to the "Press CTRL + ALT +DEL to log on" screen. There is NO DISCONNECT after 10 seconds as is mentioned in many KB articles, it stays connected like nothing is wrong.
I have tried installing the latest VM Tools (even omitted SVGA driver), upgrading to Horizon 7 agent/direct connect, upgraded the VM hardware to v13, and none of that seems to fix this problem.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? I do not have any of the Connection Server/Composer nonsense to deal with and like I said, as of a few days ago this all worked perfectly. I can't see the VCSA update as having anything to do with it, so it must be an issue with ESXi, but what? What would knock out the video, but not the mouse or audio? It has to be something with the SVGA driver. There is 32MB of mem and 256MB for 3D on a 1900x1200 screen. It was set to auto and had 17.3MB assigned when it was working. I increased it to see if it would fix the issue, but no luck.
Tomorrow I will rebuild a host with ESXi 6.0 and migrate the VDI desktop to it and see if it comes back to life.

We have 4 SSO servers , 8 inventory,8 web,8vcenter and 8 vum(updatemangager) servers avalible.
Need to reboot 1st week squence#1 (it follows 4 weeks) 1 SSO server ,2 inventory servers , 2 web,2 vcenter and 2 vum servers .
reboot the 1st SSO server after check the SSO service is running or not.
If SSO service is running, then reboot sequence 2 inventory, 2 web,2 vcenter and 2 vum after completed email myself a report squence .
If SSO service is not running need to reboot the SSO again nofify through mail.

NSX has it own native load balancer functionality & it can also be integrated with 3rd party load balancer like BIG IP.
Is there any comparison between these 2 types in terms of features & functionality.
I need to know the technical comparison between these 2 solutions to judge which is the ideal load balancer to choose from.
I would like to know the key difference of deploying NSX Load balancer in Inline vs One Arm mode.

Also in scenarios where the NSX Edge gateways are configured in Active - Active (2 NSX Edge gateways to connect to physical network) with ECMP (OSPF) it is not recommended to enable LB functionality in inline mode (because of asymmetric routing) it is always recommended to use LB in proxy mode.

I am trying to move from VMware Fusion to Workstation Pro.However I am running into a couple of issues that I cannot seem to resolve. The first is "VMware Workstation and Hyper-V are not compatible" One of the VMs I was able to change the BCD option but that did not resolve it. Other VMs dont accept the change. I will add that the Hyper-V role was never installed in the first place.I even tried this with a non windows VM and got the same error message (VYOS to be exact). The file I am attempting to open is the vmx file in the Mac Fusion bundle.All VMs are guests-there is no esxi or anything like that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought a kit Essential 6.5 but the servers are still to come and I urgently need to create a virtual machine with Centos (host Windows 10) that later will be imported into ESXI.
What is best that you use to create the virtual machine? Workstation Player or Workstation PRO? I will not haveproblems then to export the machine ESXI?
I read that you canexport the VM without Stand Alone Converter, what are the differences?
